Kamloops – Construction on the new Sunrise Centre – Seniors Living building on the corner of Victoria Street and Sixth Avenue is set to start early 2020. Active seniors in Kamloops, BC will soon have a new affordable housing option in their community.
To formalize the kickoff of site preparation, an invitation-only ground-breaking ceremony will take place on Friday, November 15th at 12:30 pm at the project site, on the corner of Sixth Avenue and Victoria Street.
The Sunrise Centre will feature 112 new affordable rental units and 5 new commercial locations on the main floor.
The Sunrise Centre project is in partnership with the Government of British Columbia BC Housing, the City of Kamloops, Stoni Flats Developments and Centre for Seniors Information BC Interior Society.
